Ontario EcoCentres is a unique certification program that works with education centres in Ontario to reduce their carbon footprint. Through comprehensive guidelines, we provide a framework that helps your centre reduce its environmental impact by moving toward more efficient operations and focusing on wise decision-making.
The Ontario EcoCentres program can:
- provide your centre with environmental standards for sustainable operations
- encourage your staff team and visitors to promote sustainable actions and behaviours
- help mitigate climate change by targeting greenhouse gas emissions at your centre
- identify capital deficiencies
